National Account Manager - Wholesale - Remote (TX, ATL, Chicago)

Location: Dallas, TX

Reporting to the VP of Sales – National Accounts, the incumbent is responsible for developing, maintaining, and driving the route to market for the company's snacker product line, as well as expanding service to retailers pulling the company's beverage products. This role works alongside the VP of National Accounts to implement sales strategies within the wholesale and broadline sectors, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives. Key duties include creating and executing account strategies and promotional plans for broadliners, focusing on independent and regional trade. The National Sales Manager will also lead efforts to recruit, train, and develop a national/regional broker network, working to accelerate U.S. expansion. Representing the company at industry trade shows, managing key administrative tasks such as forecasting and budgeting, and supporting strategic planning with senior leadership are critical aspects of this position.

Candidates must reside in Texas, Atlanta, or Chicago to be considered for this role.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Develops, maintains, and improves client relationships across the country for the club channel and non-traditional channels.

  • Work with VP of National Accounts to implement a sales strategy for snackers in the wholesale/broadline sector, aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Create and implement account strategies and tactical promotion plans for Broadliner’s in Independent and Regional class of trade (Smart store opportunities-center store POG)
  • Work with VP of National Accounts to recruit, train, & develop national/regional broker network in the U.S.
  • Lead and develop broker partner to accelerate expansion in US.
  • Attend Foodservice channel industry/customer trade shows (Sweets and Snacks, NACS, SE Petro, Big 4 wholesalers, , etc.) to promote the brand and expand the company’s network of Snackers.
  • Meet all required/ requested administrative deadlines (item set up, Forecasting, budgeting), complete, on time, and with actionable information
  • Support the Company’s strategic planning in co-ordination with the Senior Management Team

Forecasts, reports, and analyzes market trends.

  • Manage DOT, Mc Lane, Coremark, HT Hackney, Vistar and other Broadline accounts for all pack type. As well as adding new Wholesaler’s, targeting Sysco, U.S Foods, PFG & GFS OpCos in key markets the U.S
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and develop a club pack that will drive desired sales, focused on profitability and operational efficiency for both good2grow and the customer.
  • Analyzes market trends and competitors to develop strategies to increase sales.
  • Provides sales forecasts and reporting on key metrics.

Represents good2grow and generates new business leads.

  • Attends trade shows and events to represent the company and generate leads

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong relationship building and networking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
