Under the general supervision of the Inventory Strategy Team Manager, the incumbent will be a trusted partner for the Regional Sales team and work closely with the external Distributor Network. The incumbent will drive business growth by optimizing inventory levels across warehouses, analyzing in-stock patterns throughout the company’s largest route-to-market and providing actionable insights that drive sales and performance at retail. The incumbent will excel in cross-functional communication with Supply Chain, Insights, and Promotional analysis, as well as take the lead on any other analysis needed to ultimately drive optimal product inventory nationally to assist in Sales execution.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Own the Communication and Optimization of Inventory for Distributor Performance.
- Continuous improvement of reporting tools that assess distributor performance, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and business impact.
- Take over and own Vendor Managed Inventory process for distributor orders managed in-house.
- Ability to communicate business impact of in-stock improvement across distributor network.
- Work closely with distributor partners to understand and solve inventory challenges.
- Owns and updates weekly inventory reporting for all distributors, enabling Regional Vice Presidents and the Sales Team to prioritize market selling with confidence.
- Ability to communicate production constraints both internally and externally in instances of product shortages or supply chain constraints to minimize market impact.
- Assist in New Distributor onboarding, minimizing go-to-market lead time for execution.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to enhance reporting processes and aligns recommendations with evolving business needs.
Drive Data-Driven Insights and Internal KPI Metrics
- Contribute to and refine complex datasets in DOMO, optimizing existing dashboards and maintaining PowerPoint reports that provide visibility into key performance trends.
- Utilize shipment and depletions data to communicate future inventory needs, ensuring timely replenishment of optimal on-hand metrics at distributors.
- Optimize warehouse inventory at both ship-to and satellite locations by analyzing weekly depletion data and identify additional opportunities for improvement, providing data-driven insights to both internal and external shareholders.
- Improving data reporting tools to continuously enable proactive problem-solving and decision-making at the field level, driving efficiency.
- Monitor key OOS metrics, assessing national and regional market performance, and collaborating with Sales Managers to generate data-backed improvements.
- Communicate monthly performance analysis to Regional Sales, identifying areas of inefficiency and ensuring accountability to achieve inventory KPIs.
Identify and Improve out-of-stock instances at Tier 2-4 Distributors
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Distributors, and Sales to ensure operational objectives align with national inventory priorities.
- Investigate recurring stockout instances and overcome underlying causes to drive Sales.
- Serves as a strategic partner to the external Distributor Network and internal Regional Sales Managers, proactively highlighting insights that decrease out-of-stock instances to drive sales.
- Distributor performance evaluation to identify trends in inventory that drive execution and collaborate with the Sales Team to implement repeatable improvement.
- Identify and accelerate regular reporting on inventory performance, highlighting areas for improvement and presenting solutions to internal manager.
- Enable weekly regional market team discussions, presenting insights on distributor performance and recommending key actions to support growth.
Education/Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Analytics, or Finance.
- 2+ Years of experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), retail, and/or product distribution with exposure to DSD route-to-market model.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Proficiency with VIP, DOMO, or other visualization tools.
- Highly motivated individual with strong problem-solving communication and analytical acumen.
Preferred:
- Experience within Beverage sales or a high-growth, data-driven organization.
- Supply Chain experience and understanding.
- Previous sales-adjacent roles preferred.
- Previous experience working in a continuous improvement-oriented environment.
